Welcome, Lab Teams!

This portal is your home for Redemptive Labs and includes all of the resources, templates, content and tools for running experiences.

Get Licensed

In order to run a Lab, a license is required. The first step is in-person training, followed by a virtual, self-paced course that culminates in submitting for a license. We estimate it will take your team 10 hours to go through the process.

Stay Connected

As you’re supporting entrepreneurs, we want you to stay connected to a support system through Praxis. We host Quarterly Calls for Lab Teams to keep you updated on the latest from Praxis, stay in touch with peers, and learn best practices. There’s also a Whatsapp Community for ongoing communication.

Dinners are 2.5 hour gatherings to introduce people to redemptive entrepreneurship and cultivate your ecosystem.

Labs are 3-day, 2-night gatherings to go deep with a group of 6-12 founders and mentors. (License required).

Run An Experience

We’ve created training, templates, content and tools to make it easy to serve founders, funders, and builders in your city. If you’re just starting out, we recommend hosting at least one Dinner and progressing to Labs.

Integrator’s Guide

As you plan your events and build your ecosystems, Labs operators have the option to use our tools, including Airtable and Squarespace. This is the starting place for understanding how to use these tools.

The Latest from Praxis

  • Post-Lab Playbook Groups

After Founders go through a Lab, a great way for them to keep going is to create a Playbook Group. Use one of the Praxis Playbooks and go through 1 topic per session.

Digital PDF’s are available for free or print books can be ordered online.

  • Prototyping: Capital Labs

We’re prototyping Capital Labs in 2024, using the new Redemptive Investing and Philanthropy playbooks. We’ll share more as we develop and test this experience.

For those who are interested in piloting, please email Jon. (Must have an active license and run at least 1 Lab).

  • Licenses for end of Year 2023

We’re moving to an annual licensing cycle. If you went through training in 2023, please complete your license process by December 15. If you were part of 2022 training, your license is up for renewal. Check your email for instructions on scheduling a call for license renewal by December 15.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A Redemptive Lab is an independently organized Praxis-like event — not a Praxis headquarters event. it is essential that you as a host consistently and clearly message your lab in relation to but distinct from Praxis headquarters, as well as any other organizations.

    • You should never communicate “Praxis is coming to (my city)...”

    • Always refer to yourself as a Redemptive Lab host, and not an employee of Praxis.

    • You should never use the Praxis logo in any communications or branding independent of the unique Redemptive Lab name you have been licensed use of.

    • Please ensure that your entrepreneurs and mentors follow these guidelines in their messaging and promotion of their involvement in your Redemptive Lab.

    • Redemptive Labs are standalone events and cannot be hosted in combination with other organizations, schools, brands, or content. This includes no co-branding the event with another organization or group. While we are open to approving licenses for organizations, schools, or similar, that organization must be willing to run the event as a standalone entity where their organization is not on the co-branding. With Praxis’ approval, organizations may indicate on their website that they were the “Host of a Redemptive {{Business/Nonprofit}} Lab in {{Year}}.”

    • You as the license holder of a Redemptive Lab are the host of the event and may not promote the event as being hosted by another organization for promotional purposes (e.g. City Church is hosting a Redemptive Business Lab).

  • Yes, all the labs guidelines in the license agreement can be found here
